Canadian English is a dialect of English spoken in the country Canada. It has elements mostly of Metropolitan English, Scots, and French.

This should help guide you restore your Canadian Accent if it has faded away. This unfortunately happened to me, and I want to make sure that it does not happen again.

Canadian Raising is an important element of Canadian English, referring to the raising of vowels in diphthongs preceding voiceless consonants.

Diphthongs followed by voiced consonants are /au/, voiceless /ʌu/, and /ai/, /ʌi/.

Canadian English is highly influenced by Metropolitan English and French. It has inherited the soft and light sounds of the Metropolitan English letter L, which is pronounced /l/ (Used in French) or /ɭ/, and the letter R (Pronounced /ɹ/), although in Canadian English it is usually rhotic, While in Metropolitan English it is not.
